I am The Toad.
I am 28 and female. I live by the sea with my fiancé. I pride myself on being from the North, but our seaside location means I am just about as far South as you can get before hitting France.
Growing up an army brat has meant I have always moved around, and more recently due to my fiancé’s job, in the last 18 months we have moved four times, it certainly keeps life interesting. I have had a soap-opera-style life so far with an abusive childhood resulting in mental health problems and psychiatric ward admissions. Moving around so much has meant experiencing different NHS mental health services around the country. Starting a diet at 17 grew into an obsession with dieting and I now have an eating disorder. I can be paranoid and crazy, I like anything pink and glittery, I can be obsessed and absorbed by something, I am easily bored, I get excited, I get depressed, I get manic, I can be sad, I am a person made up by opposites and strong emotions. I see things as black or white which brings colour into my life.
There’s always something going on and always a story to be told.
